Outdoor Research Women's Helium Jacket

better than i thought
This will be my go to jacket in he rain and wind. It is so light weight, packable, and fits like a dream. Not too tight, not too loose. I ran in it the other morning in 20 degrees and it kept my body warm but not boiling which means that it does breathe. Like most rain jackets, it's a bit noisey but not at all bad. It's the weight, or lack of, that is so amazing.

breathable & light
I have always bought rain jackets with pit zips. I use them to hike a lot and get so overheated. However, an excellent price convinced me to get this one & I'm more than satisfied. So light and breathable and doesn't stick to the skin due to the powdery finish inside. Great fit in both torso and arm length, with a bit of a nip in the waist for a slightly feminine fit. Outdoor Research always has good quality gear, so I'm sure this will last despite how thin it is.

Great Ultralight Shell
I wanted something similar to my ultralight Patagonia Houdini, but with more weather protection. I was always getting caught in the rain on my bike with my Houdini jacket on, and it would soak through. This OR jacket fit the bill. It's waterproof, ultralight, and packable--Just what I needed for riding my bike. This is my first OR product, and I'm impressed. I'll definitely consider more items from them in the future. Fit is true to size. I'm 5'4" and 105lbs.--Size small fit perfectly.
