as stated above, I think these jeans are amazing or "awesome" the organic cotton is super comfortable and so far seems to be very robust... shrinkage in the first few washes was minimal but I did notice a little. The fit is the best part about them, they have a great feel and look while still having room to move- the last few pairs of jeans I've gone through seem to have the problem of stressing the seams when used in "outdoor adventures" that have lots of movement, I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing that with the Patagonias :-)

I've been a Patagonia fan since 1989 but, I've never bought their jeans due to the price. Altrec's price was awesome so I bought a pair and WOW. These jeans are very conformable, soft, thick and very strong. Bombproof!! I had no idea Organic Cotton had the qualities for this product. I bought a second pair after the great fit and quality. These jeans should be issued to the military for use in Afghanistan. Great attention to detail throughout the product, including the steel (not copper) button, steel rivets with"Patagonia" stamped on them and a thick steel YKK zipper.

Awesome jeans
So glad Patagonia again has jeans...they are the only ones I wear...very comfortable and durable, therefore worth the price. They don't fit tight, but that's how I like them...adds to the comfort.
