Pantagonia best quality ever
I had a backpack with the same material and has lasted 5 years of abuse. Even punctured, the bag doesn't fray. I am still using it with a bit of crazy glue to hold it up. This travel bag is so light and roomy. It is most comfortable when filled to capacity, light or heavy. Otherwise it's a bit uncomfortable if you have only a water bottle because it sags at the bottom. But it's made for a load. I am 5'4" and it fits me well....trips to the supermarket filled to the top can store a lot, beach, anywhere. I just wish it has a buckle for the chest. It is also a good looking bag. Pantagonia has put a lot of thoughts in the design of the bag....Pricey though. The only shortcoming with my backpack and the travel bag is the foam against your back. It generates quite a bit of heat and uncomfortable in long distance. Often i take it out and use a thin carton.
great product
I have been buying Patagonia for over 20 years and never been disappointed. I bought this for my daughter to use as a diaper bag. Ended up buying another lightweight item for another daughter. Great products.
never leave home without it!
I picked this up for two months abroad where I would be traveling, hiking, and working... it became the bag I never left home without! Packing for a quick weekend holiday? Check! Need to grab your laptop and catch the tube? Check! Need a carryon for a quick flight? Check! Oh, and when you're done, pack it back into itself and stick in your big bag and never worry about anything - takes up almost no space and no weight!
Best Tote Ever!
I cannot say enough good things about this tote - I've schlepped it on planes, through Yellowstone, to the gym, work, and farmer's market as a backpack and a tote and it's completely fabulous anyway you can think of to use it. This newer version is roomier, the fabric is stronger and a better texture, better pockets, nice key ring, bigger outside mesh pockets, and the backpack straps conveniently fold away when not in use. I also love the cute colors and have gotten lots of compliments on the green color.
Versatile and extremely lightweight.
This tote is very lightweight, well-made, versatile and seems durable. I use it for the pool, daytrips, just about anytime I need to throw stuff together and keep my hands free. It doesn't squish down small enough to be taken with me everywhere as a "back-up bag" (because of the back padding), and it isn't comfortable enough to be used as my primary bag. It closes with a zipper, two clips and a cinch cord, and you must set it down to undo everything in order to open it. There is one deep zipper pocket on the front, one small back-wall interior zipper pocket, and two nice deep mesh waterbottle pockets on the sides. There are handles on the top of the bag, and shoulder straps that can be tucked away. The shoulder straps are widely set and slippery, so they tend to slip off my shoulders. It holds a lot, but not comfortably. It is unbelievably lightweight! And the magenta color is outstanding. This is not my primary backpack; I use a Deuter expandable pack for comfort and performance while traveling, or a TNF lumbar pack for hiking. It's great to have on hand as an extra bag in the car, though.
