I moved to Kazakhstan last Fall and have been wearing the Nano Puff with a Gortex shell. It is perfect for outdoor activities down to about 32F. The construction and fit are exactly as expected. The high cut arms are perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities as they do not restrict my movement. Buy one!!!! You won't be disappointed!

Great fall jacket or base layer
I mainly use this jacket as a base layer to my gore-tex ski shell. This jacket is unbelievably warm. The only down fall would be that its not very wind resistant. That is why it is best to pair with an outer shell in harsher weather. This jacket is so so so so light and very easily packable. Perfect to take hiking! I have treid some of the heavier down patagonia jackets and find they are a bit too warm for Pennsylvania winters. I find the nano to be just the right amount of warmth for very little bulk. I have this jacket in both the hooded and non-hooded version. They are both great. The hooded version fits well over a helmet. The only reason I have good quality instead of excellent is that I noticed (after many wears and washes) that some of the treading is coming a bit loose, but no big deal. I also wash this jacket quite often on delicate and hang drag it :)

Wear this all the time!
If you are looking for the most comfortable, easy-to-wear, jacket, this is it! True to Patagonia quality, this jacket is top notch in workmanship, style and practicality. I wear it in both the back and front country all the time. It is a perfect "layering layer" and can therefore be worn year round no matter what climate you live in. The packability and fashionability makes it great for travel. As a woman with a slim build and narrow hips (5'7", 128 lbs), I chose the men's size XS and really like the trim fit. Do not pass this one up!

Good jacket, but.....
Sent it back because it seemed kind of big. I like my jackets a little more fitted around the waist, this thing was big. I usually wear a large, but going with a medium in this style. I am 5'10", 190 lbs, broad shoulders/long arms and a 34" waist.

Bought this for my husband in L. Fit is a bit large, so exchanged for a medium which was better. We just went on a hike today in 48 degree weather and he only had a thin shirt under the light weight jacket and it was quite warm. Perfect for outdoor hiking and running around town. Excellent for layering in very cold weather. I want to buy one for myself now!
