good try, but no cigar
I love Patagonia products, BUT consistent sizing has been an issue for several years. This jacket was the low point in that regard, with a very small fit at the shoulders and waist, especially for a "regular fit" cut. I ended up having to return it. Multiple conversations with Patagonia customer service have indicated that Patagonia is well aware of this consistent sizing problem, and - with this season's new offerings - is working hard to address it. Other than the sizing issue, which was a deal-killer for me, the jacket is awesomely designed and constructed.
