Great outer layer
Jacket has no liner so it is perfect as an outer layer. Jacket is lightweight and can be used for packing when biking. For running the sleeve is long so it can be pulled down over gloves until hands warm up.

First time buyer
Did my research and purchased the traverse jacket. It is very light and yet very warm for the amount of material. It is my first patagonia purchase. Would highly recommend. Medium fits just fine for me...6'1", 180....it is fitted (w/o excess material in the midsection) and sleaves are long enough. If you like a more "tailored" fit, then this will be great for you.

Lightweight, comfortable, looks great and performs well. Light precipitation rolls right off. Athletically cut but roomy enough so that I can easily layer a fleece underneath for temps into the mid 20's. The lightweight fabric seems like it wouldn't be as durable but rocks and branches have left no marks.

A comfortable and functional jogging jacket
For cooler days this jacket offers a good, roomy fit, wind-resistance and, with proper layering, ample warmth. The generous cut allows for sufficient layering. The relatively high collar for further protection and the zippers function very smoothly and easily. The material is soft and compliant with a bit of stretch to it. All around, a comfortable and functional jogging jacket.

Great jacket for an early morning run. The fit is true and the quality is great. Also endures repeated washings over and over. Would recommend this product to any serious runner.
