Patagonia R1 Gloves
Pushing seasons to the margin (or fishing right through winter) frequently means fewer people and more fish. It can also mean frozen fingers. With the toasty new Patagonia R1 Gloves, your hands stay warm and nimble even in freezing rain, icy wind and cold water. The thin, flexible 1.5mm smooth-skin neoprene outer stops wind and shrugs off moisture, while the polypropylene insulation locks in warmth. A 3-panel, stitched and glued construction with anatomically placed seams provides remarkable comfort, water-resistance and dexterity.
- Fabric: 2mm smooth-skin neoprene outer with 100% polypropylene insulation
- Weight: 5.7 oz

Reviews
Keeps hands pretty dry and warm.
I used them for fishing in the windy rain in 40 F weather and they helped keep my hands from getting extremely cold and provided some protection when cutting up and baiting crabs on the hook. Although your hands can still get wet in these they will stay warm because they are made of neoprene and the water should warm up and provide some insulation like a wetsuit. The insides have a soft microfiber like interior which is comfortable.
Gloves work well with kayak drytop
I got these gloves to extend my kayak season. I got a new drytop Level 6 Duke and got these gloves to go with it. I went out in 40 degree water, 35 degree air with 15 mile wind. I did a roll and my hands were warm.
