Made from Polartec exclusive Thermal Pro polyester fabric, this full-zip fleece is super light, extremely compressible, breathable, warm, stretchy and soft. The short-sheared but high-loft face has a smooth appearance, and the directional knit wicks superbly, speeding dry times. Polartec Power Stretch panels on the outer forearms and along the sides increase durability in high-wear areas and allow for a close, mobile fit while retaining warmth. With a softly lined inner collar and chin flap for skin comfort, offset shoulder seams to stay clear of pack straps and zippered pockets, the Patagonia Women's R2 Jacket is as useful as it is adorable.

Love this jacket
It is so comfortable and cozy. My husband had the male version and I always one for me, so I am glad I got one that fits me just right! I normally wear smalls in jackets, but got it in a medium to allow room for layers underneath. I did not get it to be a warm jacket, but I can tell that it will definitely keep me warm.

Fabulous
I love this jacket. Perfect for cool mountain mornings and evenings when you don't want your R4. The fit is a true medium. And best of all is the fabric--soft, light, makes you want to wear it.

Great addition to the active life
I had a Mountain Hardware Monkey Jacket, which was warm but a little full in the body. This jacket is a similar fabric, but cut closer to the body, light & wonderfully warm. I'll use it hiking, biking and skiing. It works beautifully with the H2No rain jacket, too.
