Awesome Running Shorts
Bought these for a longer running short to add to my arsenal of short shorts. These fit the bill perfectly! 5" inseam shorts are still too short for me and 8-9" are too long. These are perfect. The pockets are great for running and the material is fluid and soft. The two backs pockets could be loaded down with gels, ipod, credit card or a key. Great for longer runs when you dont know where you will end up!

These shorts are very comfortable and lightweight and make for a great run every time out. Pearl Izumi is a wonderful brand that is quite difficult to find on store shelves. Overall great deal.

Good for racing and training
I bought these for the pockets and they were well worth it. 2 zip pockets on the sides are good for ID, cash, and larger items. 2 velcro pockets are the right size for a gel and keys. And the float liner is very comfortable.

Not For Everyone, But Maybe For You
These Pearl Izumi shorts are of extreme high quality. The materials are excellent as is the workmanship. The liner fits comfortably and does a superior job of transferring moisture, keeping you dry. The shorts weigh nothing. The product is also properly priced for the quality. There are two problems, at least for me. The first is that the fit is a little weird. Waist is fine and the size chart is accurate but they are very snug in width. Side movement of your legs is a little restricted and they just feel clingy. It feels like the liner is stretchy and wants to move with you but the outer short stops it. I'm of normal build and athletic. Perhaps if I were slimmer, this would not be a problem. My second issue is that the rear pockets(empty) seem to stick out a bit as if there's too much material in that area, creating a baggy look in the rear. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons, especially for slimmer people.

The boys arent happy
I've only worn these on one ten mile trail run and they are WAY too small. Not only is the waist measure wrong (I'm a 33" waist and medium shows as 32"-34"), the leg openings of the inner brief and overall size are extremely constricting. Because of this I was forced to guess on Durability and Quality. Otherwise the features , look, and apparent construction are all good. That is the only reason I'd recommend this product. I tossed the tags, so I guess I just need to fast for a couple of weeks ;)
