Bomb proof
As a USFS Hotshot wildland firefighter I carried my video camera in this case clipped to the outside of my pack on fires. It went through everything from helicopter flights to getting direct hits of retardent dropped from airplanes. I also took it to Africa for 5 weeks and all I have to show for all the abuse is some superficial scrapes and some great video. My video camera is still well protected. If you have anything you need to protect spend the $35 and do it right.
