Petzl William Tri-Act Locking Carabiner
Designed for critical anchor points, the William Triact features an intuitive three-part gate locking system that almost eliminates the possibility of an accidental opening. The three steps consist of pushing up on the sleeve, turning the sleeve, and pushing open the gate. The procedure is easy enough to do with gloves, but nearly impossible to accomplish accidentally.
- Zicral aluminum alloy
- 24 mm. gate opening
- Strength is 25 kN along long axis, 7 kN along the short axis and 7 kN with the gate open
- Weight: 90 g.

Put Your Life In It's Hands
Lift and twist. It takes a little getting used to, but it is one of my favorite carabiners. I work at a climbing gym and recommend this product to everyone. If you are looking for a great auto-locking carabiner look no further.
My treasure
The color of this Carabiner is also good. And, it is easy to use it very as the size is also enough. I will keep using this.
ease of use
This carabiner has an awesome lock, with ease of use. A one hand twist and pull will unlock it, but safety is above average....well made.
Must have for safety
This carabiner is the same excellent quality you can expect from Petzl. I use it for climbing trees. The triple action required to open the gate is a must have when climbing past limbs that might otherwise accidentally open the gate causing a real safety hazard. Sometimes it can be hard to trust your life to a piece of equipment, but not with the Petzl William Tri-Act. This is a must have for anyone climbing trees, including professional or recreational climbers.
