Made with 2 overlapping hardshells, you have complete protection from sharp objects while the fresh air flows between the 2 layers and out the back vents that act as a chimney. Meeting snowboarding and skiing safety standards, you've got removable padding so you can wear this POC helmet with or without a beanie. Skullcandy drivers in the earpads deliver great sound while the cell phone unit lets you listen to your music, then click over to the incoming call from the hottie you met on the chairlift yesterday.

Sizing Issue
This helmet is top notch. It's comfortable, very well made and looks good too. I think it leans toward the round head type a bit and also, the large was too small for me. I wear a medium in Giro helmets so this was odd. Also, I know my head measurements and I should have fit in the large. It hit me at the front and back so hence the round head comment. But there is no adjustment on this helmet so I needed the next bigger size. I would definitely recommend this helmet, but you might need to order twice if you don't have a chance to try it on first.
