Saucony Men's Progrid Guide 4 Running Shoes
If you have only light stability needs, and are looking for an everyday training shoe, lace up the Men's Saucony Progrid Guide 4 Running Shoes. The dual density Impulse EVA midsole slows down any mild overpronation and supplies motion control and support through the entire gait cycle. The smooth ride is accentuated by the use of SRC (Super Rebound Compound) Impact Zones in the heel and SRC Xtra Forefoot Cushioning for a fluid toe-off. The outsole also uses blown rubber, as well as XT-900 carbon rubber, for increased cushioning and durability. The HRC Strobel Board adds even more cushioning, so you, and the shoes, can handle five or six days of running each week. And let's not forget the breathable mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays for support and control. Fear not the miles, when you're wearing the Progrid Guide 4 Running Shoes for men from Saucony.

Great shoe, the only shoe I need.
I have used this shoe for everything from track/ street runs all the way to adventure mud races. They have taken everything that I have thrown at them and kept ticking. This shoe has great durability and breathability. Great all around shoe!

I've been wearing the earlier versions of these shoes for about 5 years. I have 6 pairs I rotate between. The updated Guide 4's are another subtle but steady improvement on the tried and true Progrid Guides. Excellent support and comfort for those long training runs. Good for average arches with minimal pronation. I'm 6'1" and weigh 160 lbs and run on average 25 to 50 miles per week. Great shoes at a great price!

I love my Saucony ProGrid Guides
When I started training to run marathons, I went to a respected running store in Richmond, VA. These are the shoes that they put me in. I have a slight pronation. I do like to support my local stores, but they didn't have my size in stock. I checked online and found them here for a significant savings. There have been model changes over the years, but non have adversely effected me. I'm wearing these shoes to run the 2011 Richmond Marathon on November 12th. They will have 50 - 60 miles total on them, including a long run of 20 miles when I put my foot on the starting line. I have owned many of these shoes and have never had an injury caused by this footwear. When your out training and pay attention to what shoes people are wearing, you will notice many wear Saucony. Excellent shoe!
