Scarpa are great but I need bigger toe box
I have always bought Scarpa boots, they last forever. But unfortunately for me I am at the biggest size range they go to & with age my feet are getting bigger. The toe box needs a liitle bit more room for me, otherwise they would be great. The sole has shock absorption & flex suffient for carrying a backpack for several days. I find these boots have a lot more give in the sole / flex than the Scarpa Trek Pros.

Great boots, but thin for longer feet
Very comfortable and capable boots. Not a lot of ankle support, which isn't surprising given the weight. The issue that had me return them was how narrow the "wheelbase" is. I wear a size twelve and the soles are pretty thin, making it easy for me to roll an ankle. If your feet aren't that long, I would imagine these are perfect, as they are light, comfortable and grip well.
