An Excellent Cuffed Beanie
This is the first Smartwool beanie I have bought for my winter running exercises in Boston, where low temperatures, winds and humidity often conspire against you. This beanie thus far has met all my expectations: it's very light yet warm, making me feel comfortable even at 15-10 F; it's thin yet wind-proof, especially when being cuffed; it's snug yet very comfortable and breathable, wicking moisture away from my forehead; it's made of wool yet extremely soft, causing no itching. I would strongly recommend such beanie to anyone who seeks protection from the elements, without compromising comfort and performance.

I bought this beanie because I've had great experiences with Smartwool socks and wanted to try their other offerings. First off, this is a basic cuffed beanie, but it's more than basic. It doesn't even feel like your old "scratchy" wool, it's just as soft as a nice cotton t-shirt. Don't let the seemingly thin construction fool you. This beanie kept my noggin' warm down to the lower 30s. In all, I'd recommend it for a nice basic soft and warm beanie.

This is my third beanie and I just love it. It's small, warm light and it does not take up space in your coat pocket. Good for traveling. Hardly find it on sale. Worth buying it at full price.

Great Lightweight Cap
This is a great lightweight cap that works in a range of temperatures due to the way SmartWool breathes. I'm a bald guy, so when the temps cool off I'm looking for a cap. These caps work really, really well. They're pretty tight fitting, so you don't look like you're over doing in on cool to cold days. In bitterly cold temps, I use something more substantial. However, if you are out in very cold temps and active, this solution may also work for you in those conditions. I love SmartWool.
