Smartwool Women's PhD Snowboard Medium Socks

Love these socks!
Reluctantly purchased these for a ski trip to Colorado for Christmas due to the price, but as with most performance gear - you get what you pay for. They were extremely comfortable, never rubbed my toes or feet the wrong way, legs never got itchy, and my feet stayed perfectly warm the whole time with temp's ranging from 4-32 degrees. Since returning from the ski trip, I have used them for running with just as much pleasure. If they last long enough, I will be replacing my sock drawer with nothing but smartwool!

PhD's socks are just great
I have several pair of PhD's socks, and I have also bought some pairs to my daughter. We use them when skiing telemark, snowboarding, cross country skiing and hiking up in the mountains. They fit very well and we never get blisters anymore. I do not know if it is only due to the socks, but I do know that having good socks is very important. We also like the bright colors. PhD socks as a gift is also a good idea. My friends they love them!

very warm and comfortable...wore and washed at least a dozen times with no shrinkage, fading, or pilling...still almost like brand new...smooth fit under boot with no binding or bunching...an excellent addition to the boarder's wardrobe

Love smart wool socks, this goes up all the way to my knees which I love. Best socks for all my winter activities, my feet never get overly hot nor chilled.

Excellent socks. They don't tend to fall down (at least while skiing) and keep my feet very warm. They do fuzz on the bottom after a washing or two, but they are still great socks.
