My husband received his first pair of smart-wool socks from a friend that works at a local shoe store, where our friend said he will want more! And as told my husband asked for another pair for Christmas. They are a bit pricey for one pair of socks but they wear well, do not need to be washed after every use and keep your feet dry. After much research I found that Altrec had the best price and the shipment was delivered quickly. Will defiantly order from them again.

Can't Go Wrong
SmartWool socks are some of the best. I've had pairs of these socks outlast the shoes I bought at the same time. They're just so long lasting. The myriad ways other socks fail, these just don't. The elastic stays elastic. The heels last. Balls of the feet - last. The toes last. And they're soft, not itchy.

Nice! Nice! Nice!
These socks are Great! I have worn Smart Wool socks for years mostly for hiking. I wanted a pair of socks that I could wear with slacks and a pair of Rockport Oxford Shoes. The quality and support of these socks feel great. Cotton socks tend to twist on my dry feet. These stay where they should and they look nice!

Jeans and SmartWool
Why I didn't get these sooner, I don't know. Have worn SmartWool for hiking, biking, workouts for years with success. These are great socks with jeans. Not too thick or too thin. Keep feet cool and comfortable. Tops stay up.

These socks are the greatest thing for your feet! I have always used Smartwool's midweight hikers for all of my outdoor activities, and now i'm getting rid of my nylon dress socks and replacing them with these. I would especially recommend them for people who wear dress safety shoes.
