Great everyday mittens
I had a pair of Smartwool gloves for two winters, and last year one of them got a hole in the tip of the finger. To be fair, I wore them all the way through from late fall to early spring, almost every day, so I think it's bound to happen with knit gloves. To avoid that situation again, and to allow for free fingers, I opted for the snowflake glittens this year. They're a little thinner than I expected, but I generally walk with my hands in my coat pockets anyway, and I appreciate not having the extra bulk to carry around in the winter. Also, I have pretty large hands for a woman (I normally order medium or large gloves) and they fit great, despite the "one size fits all" sizing. And I love the colors (I got the blue)!
