Great Recovery Sock
I purchased this product for my husband while he was training for a marathon. He would wear them after long runs to help circulate the blood through his achy legs to speed up recovery. Apparently these socks work, the man swears by them! After almost a year of use and washes, I am amazed at the durability of the sock. Elasticity has held true. They still take the same amount of time to put on as they did day one. If there was one downside it would have would be price. However, based on quality and durability, they are worth every penny. Hope this helps!
They do compress
The compression is even and significant, but they do not garrotte your leg. So they function as advertised. They are nice and tall, so protect against chafing and cold leather against your shin, in a Danner Fort Lewis boot, height 14".
Fantastic socks!
I'm a nurse I work 12 hour shifts and I'm on my feet almost the entire time. These socks are a godsend and I'm so happy to have discovered them. Before my legs and feet would be aching by the end of a shift. Now? I'm pain free and happy for it. For reference I have size 13 feet and long skinny legs. The XL fit well with just a little bit of wiggle room in the toe box. I'm not sure about durability because I have only been using them for about 4 months but so far no signs of wear or "stretching out." I would put 5 stars but I haven't had them long enough to test duribilty.
