Untest but Fits Well
My son wanted gray and orange snow boots so when I finally found this pair by Sorel, I bought them. Sorel makes great boots, so I'm pretty confident they well do well in the snow. We haven't had a chance to field test them yet. The only concern I have it that portions of the upper toe are cloth. I'm guessing that it must be coated in water repellent or that there is a liner underneath, otherwise I don't see how this shoe could be waterproof. As far as the fit goes, the ankles are narrow so the boot fits snugly even without the draw strings. This is good for my son because he has pencil thin legs. Please note that the draw strings are in fact strings and not bungee. They only tighten minimally so don't expect the boot to be very adjustable.
