Sorel Boots Women's 1964 Premium Snow Boots

Great Boots!
I just moved to the midwest from CA, so needed some reliable boots for the snow. THese are great looking and very warm. I can't wait to use them this winter.

Life-savers
These boots are a life-saver! The NYC weather has been insane this winter, and I needed these so badly. Since they have arrived I have been trudging around in the snow with confidence. In fact, my husband has a pair of them in the guys' version, and we sport them around the city as a proud Sorel-wearing couple! They are warm, durable, completely waterproof, and sturdy. You can also take out the liner and use them as rain boots, which I will do in the Spring. FYI, I would call the color aubergine as opposed to cinder. It's a little more purple than I expected, but I like it!

Great fit!
These boots are everything I expected them to be. They fit very true to size; I ordered my usual size, an 8, and they fit perfectly! I also love the color. These boots are perfect for the winter weather where I live. I was in dire need of some waterproof boots, and now my feet are kept warm and dry! They are a little clunky for my taste, but this can only be expected of snow boots. Overall, this was a great purchase.

not what i expected
I was very excited to receive my boots when they arrived, but once I opened the box the first thing i noticed was that they were very chunky.The front of the boot was super wide . Once i tried them on i also realized that they run very large, I normally wear a size 8-8.5 depending on the make of the shoe. I ordered the boot in an 8 and it felt a full size larger. Overall the boot was made well and it was also very warm, but due to the wide front and the chunkiness of the boot it just was not the look i was looking for.
