great purchase
The boots are funky & fun. They fit great & can take a pair of heavy socks. I found the sizing to be correct. They're great for wearing in the cold & snow - which is what I wanted. These are not for trekking in the snow. I love Sorrel boots for winter.

Good overall fit
Fit good and boot is warm in cold weather. I have a somewhat large calf and this boot fit well without being tight. Comfortable to wear all day long especially important to me because I stand all day at work (7-12hr days).

Excited for Winter!
I purchased these boots in April, so I haven't had much outside time in them, but I am excited for the snow to fly this winter. I am 5'4" and usually wear an 8 1/2 and the fit is perfect for me in my normal socks. If you intend to wear thicker socks, then a half size up would be appropriate. They are just as cute on as in the picture! They fit pretty close to the calf, so pants are best worn over the top of them rather than tucking in.
