Wade in the Water Sandals
Ordered these for a planned time at the beach, wanted a comfortable sandal which would permit immersion. Haven't used them for that purpose yet (this spring!) so all I can say is that they are quite comfortable around the house.

Comfort and Durable Sandal
Husband loves these sandals! He would go barefoot all the time if he could but when footwear is needed, these are what he chooses. They are ultra comfy and after constant use for three moinths no visible wear shown. This will be his first sandal to last for another season!

Not so surf and sand friendly
I find this sandal light and reasonably comfortable for walking over even very rough terrain; however I have some reservations regarding the product when walking along water's edge in sand. It may be that my feet are sensitive after not going barefoot for awhile but I found that when the sandals got wet and sandy that the sand seemed to cling to the strap fabric and cause rawness to the skin on my small toes and arches. I was looking for a sandal specifically for the purpose of walking in water and protecting my feet from rocks and stones. I had a cheaper brand of sandals that did the trick for years, but they eventually wore out. I will say that these sandals were great over rocky trails, and will continue to use them for this purpose. I described the fit as a large size ten, but in retrospect I think this provided extra protection for my toes which fit back a bit from the front of the sandal. All in all: I think they are good value for the money, when on sale.
