The North Face Hammerhead Hydration Backpack
When you've brought one layer more for insurance, the midsized North Face Hammerhead Hydration Backpack has a convenient back bungee stash for quick access. You could stuff it in the large main compartment or secondary compartment that has a front stash sleeve, try to slip it in between the internal organizer, or even stick it in the generous side stretch woven pockets, but the bungee is where it belongs. Oh, and you could also take out the 100ounce reservoir 100oz Nalgene reservoir to make room there, but you wouldn't want to leave home without liquid just for another layer, or would you?

Looks great.
I haven't used it yet, but it looks like its going to be a great pack. My brother has told me to abandon Camelbak and try out North Face packs, and I see why now. I can't wait to use it.
Great Pack, Great Value
Looking for a hydration pack for the past few weeks and finally grabbed this one while it was on sale. Typical and expected North Face quality. A small profile pack, not too large, but enough room to actually store some gear and carry a decent amount of water. Easily fits a shell, random gear and plenty of Clif bars. No issues with the hose connection at this point. Using it for short hikes, snowshoe excursions and some backcountry skiing during the winter. A great day pack. Would recommend to others.
Agree with hose problem
I've had this pack for over a year and the hose will not stay connected unless you're staying still. Forget running or any rough hiking with it unless you have a different bladder in it. TNF should really address this problem. Other than that, the rest of the pack is comfortable and roomy and light.
Great Pack!
After thoroughly looking at similar packs from Camelback I chose the North Face. The reservoir is much easier to remove the pack and clean. Also, the overall design is great and I really like the magnetic mouthpiece keeper. Lots of room for equipment and easy to access in the pack.
No complaints!
My wife and kids gave the hammerhead hydration backpack to me for fathers day, we immediatly hit the trail that afternoon with a full load of water and equipment loaded in the generous storage compartments. After four hours on the trail in mid June central Florida whether, the six of us had drained the pack dry. What a relief to be able to hike with kids and not hear the complaints about haveing to carry thier own water bottle! This is a great day pack that is easy on the back, and the budget. I highly reccomend this top quality North Face product.
