Excellent Hikers
This is my second pair. They are great trail hiking shoes. I do run trails with these. The fit is great, but I usually wear an 8.5 and needed a 9 in these. I will continue to buy them as long as The North Face makes them.
I love them!
This is my second pair of gtx shoes. Just as expected, they prevent my feet from getting wet even when heavy rain. And their Vibram makes me feel comfortable during hiking, no more fears of stepping on rubbles. And, the most important is, this pair of shoes prevents my feet from getting sweaty, even after long walk. They do not disappoint me!
Great all around performance
I use this for low backpack weight hikes, woods runs, and just to walk the dog (he's energetic and needs 3 miles minimum per day). I've had 4 pairs so far. The bottom tread wears out in perhaps 300 miles, and then they lose traction. Wear length is my only criticism. Otherwise, they perform fine in almost all conditions, and I expect I'll be buying more.
Lightweight Comfort and Waterproof
Took these to Thailand and they performed great as I hiked through the jungle, over soggy fields and was very comfortable while doing other activities like zip lining. So far the shoes are holding up well so I recommend this product if you are hikinging hot, wet climates.
Awesome for hiking
I hike quite a bit and these shoes were amazing. Great traction and light. Very comfortable as well.
