The North Face Men's Venture Jacket

Best in class performance
The waterproofing on this jacket is as good as the waterproofing on my fancy 30k waterproof ski jacket. It's very breathable, so I rarely have to open the pitzips even when I'm running or riding my bike - perfect for high aerobic activity during spring and summer downpours. One downside would be that the nylon material is the "tougher" kind that is not as soft to the touch as more expensive hardshells. I am a little peeved about the zipper pull tab on one of the pockets having fallen off only after its twice or third use, but this is a minor flaw that doesn't affect the overall performance of this jacket.

Best rain jacket available
I got this jacket to use on rainy days and it works perfectly! It is lightweight, compact, and provides ultimate protection. The design of the jacket makes it light enough to wear in thewarmer weather as well.

Great Jacket!
Best rain jacket i have ever purchased! Great for spring showers and anything else in between. Put a layer on underneath it and it keeps your pretty warm. If you're looking for a solid rain jacket, look no further.

Great bang for your buck
just purchased in time for many rainy Colorado hikes. bush-whacked through branches and thorns with no signs of wear. very durable. shell is a stiff material but I'm sure it will loosen over time. i love that it retains no warmth. great for layering or warm weather. it also packs very small.

Great lightweight rain jacket
Bought the women's venture jacket for myself and loved it, so I bought the men's one for my boyfriend. He's 5'9" and ~180lbs, so I bought him a size L and it fit very well. Great quality product -- lightweight, waterproof, and a perfect layer for a rainy day.
