It Squeaks!!
Wore these shoes about a month and they started squeaking on any surface. Quite annoying in a quiet enviornment to say the least. North Face wanted me to ship them to them at my cost and authorize $50 in repairs! North face needs to take a look at the treads, there's obviously a problem in that my last pair did the same, not as bad. Only went with these since I figured the other was a fluke and would have been repaired. Otherwise the shoe wore well for only a month of use and kept me good and dry.

I love this boot Hybird
Just recieved the Hiking shoe yesterday and today I'm walkng in the rain in San Diego Ca, It never rains here and the shoe is performing Gore-tex standards. Feet warm and not wet. love it.
