The North Face Thresher Hydration Backpack
When you're on a trail run with a minimal amount of gear, the awardwinning North Face Thresher Hydration Backpack keeps things lowprofile. The X-bungee system is perfect to stash a windbreaker, while a removable, adjustable waist belt gives you options for lighter loads. The 70oz Nalgene antimicrobial reservoir prevents mysterious organisms from camping out in the bladder, as the magnetic bite valve stays close for at ready liquid relief. A secondary compartment allows for lightweight necessities, while a reflective light loop and reflective hits keep you in view at dark.

Small Backpack
The backpack is very small. Great for short hikes or bike rides.
Good construction, worthy of TNF name - does not leak
Used it for the first time last weekend on 3 intensive days snowboarding. Fell a few times at the snowpark with it on, once fully on my back with it 1/2 full, I was sure it would leak then, but it remained faithful. The bag is compact, sleek, and solidly built with straps to the chest (with a magnetic clip for the hose) and waist helping it do its job quietly without getting in the way of the action. You can't pack much into the extra compartment - sunblock & a bar of chocolates was all I needed. I rarely give full marks and would have rated this as 4 1/2 stars but it lost 1/2 a star because by no stretch of the imagination can you fill it up to the advertised 4L, best I got was very close to 2L which was what I wanted anyway. HTH
Don't buy it - wish I had a review when I did
Leaks like nobody's business - all down your back. The connection between the hose and bladder is very poor. Also, the mouthpiece leaks all over your shirt/pants while riding, even if it is closed. Not to mention there is a hole in the bladder hose now from normal use. It'll work fine - just never take the hose off of the bladder or use the mouthpiece.
Nice look but poor function
The connection between the hose and bladder leaks all the time. Had to replace with Camelback bladder. Very poor design by North Face.
