Reviews
It is a nice footprint and waterproof. I would prefer it would be more lighter.
Correction
Sized specifically for the Roadrunner 23 tent from The North Face ? Should be VE 25 not Roadrunner as shown in the specifications.
$40 save you hundreds
VE-25 Footprint is a very useful piece of gear to have. It protects your tent making its life longer, and thus saving you money. Next time you'll buy a new footprint not a new tent. It is also light enough to be worthwhile carrying it everywhere.
Much needed!
if you've got the VE-25, then you need this footprint. takes and excellent tent and just completes the package. Heavy? Yes, but if you bought the VE-25, weight is not your concern to begin with. Durable and works food for fly-only pitching.
Lack of design thought
I'm usually a big fan of TNF kit, having tents, clothing, duffels, etc. But this is poorly thought out. There are not enough grommet holes to set up the fly-only option. Because of that it ends up being an expensive sheet of plastic. I've emailed North Face about it, but no reply after a few weeks. As I said, disappointing.
