Excelent product
This is a great jacket, The windproof is excellent, the same with the waterproof. I recomend this product 100%. I have the same for men and it's great, for the Chilean winter I recomend it. Here in winter it's almost 8 degrees Celsius. I test it on Europe and waas great too.
nice wind/water proof, insulated jacket
Overall it's a very nice jacket. Fits good, warm, good looking jacket. One thing that I don't like is the wrist adjustments on the two sleeves. It's a plastic flap with velcro to tighten the fit of your wristband. For me having a small wristband, it looks wierd to have them folded so much to fit my wrist on eacn side.
Solid Performer
Good jacket. Typical of TNF quality and fit. Careful, the white/light grey color scheme is actually more like white/carbon. A great jacket for the ski slopes or light mountaineering.
This jacket is extremely lightweight for the warmth it provides. Taking out of the package, I thought it felt more like a thick raincoat...but after trying it on, I began to overheat (indoors) pretty quickly. I've had it for about a month and a half now and am very happy with the purchase. It doesn't get very cold where I live, but I can say that it does its job in temps down to the mid 30s (with just a t-shirt on underneath). I would have to guess that a couple layers along with this jacket would keep you warm in freezing temps. Fit: I'm 5' 9", 125 lbs and a small fits perfectly. My height is mostly in my legs though...if my arms were any longer, I'd probably go with a medium just for the sleeve length.
great for subzero temp
I wore this jacket with just a cotton sweater underneath while it was -19 F out, and i felt just fine! This is my first winter ever, and I came from a tropical country! This jacket lessens my regret in ever moving to Minnesota. :-)
