what padding on the ankle?
There is not padding on the ankle. I bought these because my ski boots dig into my ankle. I know know these say snowboard socks, but I wanted these ones because of their purported ankle support. There is no padding there. There is padding everywhere else they indicated, however, including the shin, calf, ankle, heel and toes. But NOT on the ankle.
