I absolutely love The North Face shoes. I recommend them to all my friends. I have had several pairs and these are my first Betasso's. I have had problems with shoes in the past and not having a good arch support. All of The North Face shoes have excellent arch support and fit my foot perfectly. I wear them for work, hiking, and jogging and my feet always feel as tho I am walking on a cloud, and I have had back problems in the past but never while wearing these shoes.
