Quality fit and finish
A great short for around the water. The quality is excellent and the materials are first rate with a nice feel. Light weight and easy to pack make these shorts great for hiking, camping or boating. One of my favorite pairs.

Excellent Outdoor Shorts
These shorts are excellent. Comfortable, but strong. Rugged for hiking and outdoors, but stylish enough for kicking around the city. Easy to hand-wash if necessary and they dry very, very quickly. Great pockets. Enjoy!

Men's Horizon Peak Cargo Short
i like the Horizon Peak Cargo Short especially for the quick-dry and lightweight feel. It was used a few times along trails in Singapore. Under the hot climate and high humidity, the shorts are perfect. however, cannot comment on design (eg side pockets) as i give more attention to how i feel while wearing them. i like it.

Had been using Patagonia's rock guide shorts for climbing. These have a snugger waist (some elastic), are quieter, and fit into their own back pocket, which is pretty sweet. Two button cargo pockets are nice and secure. Back pocket's scratchy velcro. Very easy to move in the shorts for climbing, or other active pursuits. Material dries quick. Very light and breathable - don't know how they'll hold up, but TNF is good stuff, so I'm assuming. Compared to the rock guide, they fit a little looser in the seat and leg, especially around the new. Either is great, but these cost half as much and seem really similar.

Another quality product from The North Face, durable and comfortable. A fantastic price for shorts that will last more than one season, or for me personally all year round.
