Favoriote jacket now. Has quality that you would expect from North Face. Completely impermeable, incredible. Dump buckets of water on this jacket and it would just roll off. Looks great too!

Northfact Nimble Jacket
One of the best jackets around for a cool day. It was great in the rain - kept me dry on a long walk. The only thing that would make this a better jacket would be if it had a hood. I love my Northface jackets.

Like a very light Apex
I've had an Apex Jacket for years now and it's been great, but when the weather gets above 50-55 degrees and not windy the jacket gets too warm. So I've been on the lookout for something lighter. this Nimble is it. Elastic wrist bands, very comfortable pocket locations and similar to the look of the Apex means you can call this "apex lite" The jacket is good for that late spring, early fall time where the weather is 50-65 degrees. I'm not quite sure what the fabric is but it's somewhat elastic, not crazy but if you're on the border between sizes you can go to the lower size and be fine. Something that would be harder to do with a material like a waterproof shell that has no flex to it. It's also thinner then a long sleeve T Shirt, so it feels super light and folds up very small in a backpack. My one FYI here, is that the jacket does let quite a bit of wind thru. On a 50 degree day with little or no wind it's fine, on a 50 degree day with a lot of wind you might want more then a T-Shirt underneath. I'm mentioning the wind specificaly because I'm in Seattle where the climate is between 50-60 degrees a lot but also windy and rainy a lot. If the weather is poor I'll take the apex if it's good I'll take the nimble, even if the temprature is the same. 4/5 for durability only because I havn't had it long enough to say, but because it's so thin I'm thinking it might be more prone to tearing/snaging on something then a thicker jacket. No problems yet though

Great Jacket
This jacket fits great and is quiet. It fits very well and is comfortable to move in. Unfortunately, I miss read its description and it is NOT fleece lined, which I need. If all I wanted was a shell, I would have loved to have kept it.
