very warm, fits perfectly, decent design.. only con would be the fur on the hood.. it falls off easily, so i recommend to remove the whole thing.. but other than that, great!

This is a really high quality men's jacket. I wish women's jackets were such great performance, quality, & styling, too. One small nit, I removed the fur (is detachable) & my husband loved it. Plentiful pockets. Nice color.

Great for price
I've been power shopping on Deep Winter Parkas and looked at every single option, at every price category, and chose this. Price to performance I think it's a great and stylish urban winter coat. It's better then anything comparable in price, and 90% as good as coats costing several times more. Style (other than Logos), fit, warmth, quality of construction, versatility...all very nice if you are buying for its intended purpose. If you experience long, bitter cold (10 or minus F) winters and don't want to layer you might need to look at some other Made in USA and Canada brands. At my latitude this is great and will layer with fleece nicely for the very few extreme cold days. Sizing of my medium is perfect, 24" armpit-to-armpit. Google the black marker "trick" in regards to the North Face logo if you don't want to be a walking billboard. 5 Stars reserved for certain Made in USA and Canada brands truly suitable for Arctic conditions.
