The North Face Women's Montana Mitts
Waterproof for the untracked powder and superbly reinforced for the cast-iron corduroy, The North Face Women's Montana Mitts have a waterproof and breathable HyVent insert wrapped in plenty of abrasion-resistant synthetic gripper reinforcement material on the outside. It's loaded with the same high-end features found on more expensive ski gloves and mitts (goggle wipes, nose wipes, and stash pocket for extra wipes) without sending your skiing, climbing and snowboarding budget into double-diamond difficulties. The overall glove construction has an articulated profile for enhanced hand mobility and the Heatshield insulation doesn't overly muffle your sense of dexterity.

I purchased the Montana Mitts a few weeks ago in anticipation of ski season. I have been looking for the last year at other brands, which, by the way, were double the price-with the same features-hand warmer pocket, strings to attach to my wrist (almost lost my old mittens 3 times last winter when I took them off on the lift), etc. Obviously I have not used them yet, but the fit is perfect even with liner gloves on.

Best mittens purchased in years.
These mittens were purchased to keep my wife's hands warm in cold weather skiing as well as comfortable in spring skiing and they appear to do the trick. No problem in cold and don't overheat on warmer days.

I love to ski, but hate the cold. The mitts are warm, flexible, but not bulky like some other mitts I have owned. The adjustable strap at the wrist and pull cord at the snow cuff allows a custom fit. I would recommend, and have purchased the girls version for my oldest daughter.

North Face Mitts
The North Face has some of the best products and their mittens are at the top of my list. They are comfortable and keep your hands warm and dry while on the slope and the "squeegee" is quite handy for those foggy situations as well as drippy noses;0)
