It feels a bit like old-school knit velour, but the dense and luxurious short-pile silken polyester fleece in this Women's Shiso Jacket from The North Face is amazingly lightweight and exceptionally warm. The fabric texture feels silky to the touch and The North Face designed the fit to flatter. While the Women's Shiso Jacket isn't Zip-in compatible with other shells and outerwear from The North Face, it does layer well beneath a down-filled vest or jacket. The extended collar length and elastic-bound cuffs help seal out cool breezes, too. The zippered handwarmer pockets feature easy-access vertical openings and glove-friendly zipper pulls. You probably surmised from the product images that this silky fleece piece isn't waterproof, but pair it with a performance ski or snowboard shell and you're comfortably and fashionably set for winter weather.

North face
Product is as stated except North Face logo is in black not white as pictured. I was a bit disappointed the logo was in black but otherwise it is a warm jacket for in between winter and spring.

Super soft, cute, and functional
Very cute jacket that I actually saw at another store and found it cheaper here. Super soft, nice cut, love the high collar. Warm but not super heavy.

Really Soft lovable jacket
Its really soft and comfortable. I love the texture and it fits perfetly. The high collar is very useful, I love to be able to zip it up high. The only fault I can find is that its not zip compatible, I would like to zip it to my other jacket...

Cute, casual jacket
I just got this jacket a week ago and I LOVE IT! It's super warm and extremely soft and comfy. I got it in black and want to order another color soon, because I want to wear them everyday. I've gotten compliments on it everytime I've worn it. The North Face logo is dyed to match which is nice because it's not like every other black North Face jacket with a white logo (which you see EVERYWHERE!). This jacket runs true to size. I'm 5'3 wear a size 6 but have a 36DD bust so I ordered a large to ensure it didn't pull or bunch in the bust area. It fits perfect and it's not too loose or too tight. I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone who is looking for a warm, stylish, comfy and casual jacket to wear during the fall and winter.
