The North Face Women's TKA 200 1/2 Zip
Most women's fleece jackets and full-zip pullovers offer nothing but insulating warmth in a predictable spectrum of solid colors, but thankfully the Women's TKA 200 1/2-zip from The North Face doesn't follow cookie-cutter fashion conformity. Along with contrast detailing along the zippers, binding and logo, The North Face added some embossed floral print just above the left hem. Depending on the color you choose, the amount of contrast varies so check out the photos of this midweight fleece pullover before you order. The TKA 200 1/2-zip is made with recycled fabric and has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of 30. The North Face recently updated the fabric for this middleweight pullover to enhance the wind protection--it's now four times more wind resistant (a 53 CFM rating) compared to earlier TKA 200 1/2-zip incarnations.

Nice, but the leaf print has no contrast
I ordered this shirt/jacket in both the ivory and the black colors. In the photos on this page, the leaves on the black shirt appear to be embroidered in white, and in grey on the ivory shirt, so that they contrast. This is not the case with the ones I received; the leaf print is just cut into the fleece (like areas of fleece shaved away) with no contrasting color. I still like the shirt-- it's very warm and cozy and fits well (I'm 5'1", 105 lbs, and in my normal size, XS, it fits in between a jacket and a shirt -- there is room to wear a sweater underneath but it is still fairly form fitting). However, you really can't see the leaf print unless you're up close and look carefully. I thought the contrasting leaves as shown in the photo looked so cute! Oh well, I'm still keeping this in both colors.
