The North Face Women's Yume Parka

Luxuriously warm and beautifully styled, The North Face Women's Yume Parka cuts the chill of any winter day. Yume is the Chinese word for dream, and that's how this protective winter coat feels, like a dream.

The smooth and silky nylon exterior creates a chic and feminine silhouette while the 600 fill goose down insulation keeps you warm and cozy when the weather is frightful. This elegant long jacket also features box quilting to keep the down from clumping or bunching, which eliminates cold spots for reliable warmth that never falters. The front zipper is reinforced by a protective snap-down flap and the attached hood is insulated, for extra coverer age when you need it. The perfect piece for winter in the city, The North Face Yume Parka for women has everything you've been dreaming of.

Very High Quality Down Jacket
Beutiful vintage white. It is still very warm in below zero degree. I strongly reccomend this nice Northface down jacket. My wife is very satisfied with this.

Flattering, great value
Lovely parka - really like the princess seaming, makes it flattering even though the down is nice and lofty. Much trimmer than I expected from TNF which I often think has boxy jackets. I preferred the cut of this to a similar parka from that brand named after a mountainous antipodean region. The exterior is silkier and softer than comparable outerwear and "whispers" rather than crackles, though I suspect that has partly to do with the lack of water resistance. (I was out in a drizzle and it shed the moisture just fine, but I wouldn't take it out in a downpour.) Plenty warm, I was out in 30-degree weather with just the jacket over a long-sleeved shirt (and I hate being cold). Minor cons: Got this on sale so I'm happy with the features, but if I'd paid full price I might've wanted: better/easier hood adjustment (hard to secure the cord; hood flops forward over my eyes unless I wear a baseball cap), a drawstring to adjust the waist, and perhaps a powder skirt.
