The Timberland PRO's are the most comfortable boots I have ever owened. I highly recommend them. I have worn many different brand boots and The Timberland PROS out do them all. Everything they comment on about their comfort is true.

Who knew?
Impressed wth these work boots. Most comfortable WORK boots I have ever owned. 10 year Marine veteran, so I know boots. These have great energy return. The insole is different than most. Looks like a dual density PU.. Underneath the Ortholite insole is a squishy, bouncy PU injected sole. Almost like a honeycomb, which I'm guessing cuts a little weight but probably has something to do with the energy return (bounce). Seems well built, and durable. They seem to be highly water resistant.. Not waterproof. I treated the boots with silicone a couple of times, just to make sure. The leather seams to bead up the water pretty well, but I don't trust uber deep puddles and whatnot. I was power washing something and sprayed the boot right where the boot laces start on the bottom left of the laces if you are looking down while wearing them. Right where that seam comes together, my foot got a little damp. just a slight spot, abou is the water wast the size of a nickel. In defense of the boots, the power washer forced the water into the crevice. Not bad though. I have stepped in puddles several inches deep, just having sat and played in it. They do seem to be a little heavy, like an actual HIKING boot, not a tennis shoe masquerading as a hiking boot. While I wouldn't take these puppies for a run, they aren't meant for that. I've had my heart set on a pair of Zamberlan Vioz GT hiking boots for a while, so that is what I'm going to get. However, I like these Timberline Pros so much, that I'm debating on getting a second pair before the first wear out. I have the brown ones right now, and if I would have looked, I would have found them online and ordered them in black from the get go. If you are looking for a good, solid, durable, AND comfrotable pair of work boots, believe it or not, look no further. Pros: Comfortable, solid construction, steel toe, won't break the bank when you buy them. No break-in period.. Fit true to size. l'd They have no problem accommodating my orthotic inserts, though I would have been fine without them. Cons: They are a little heavy. I wear them everyday, partially because I don't have a lot of good comfortable boots and shoes to choose from at the moment, partially because they really are comfortable. I would recommend or endorse these as work boots anyday.
