For fast-packing adventures and day hikes galore, the Vasque Men's Breeze XCR Hiking Shoe offers that perfect combination of lightweight comfort and solid support. An ideal boot for summertime hiking, the Breeze XCR's upper has large areas of breathable Airmesh and a breathable, seam-taped GORE-TEX XCR liner to keep water out when the trails are overwhelmed with spring runoff. The Integrated Technology System brings the Vibram Contact outsole, molded thermoplastic urethane (TPU) plate, and contoured phylon midsole together as one unit to provide incredible underfoot cushioning and support. The Vibram Contact outsole grips everything from muddy lowland trails to consolidated snow at timberline. And sandwiched in between this outsole and midsole, the TPU plate gives the shoe torsional strength to keep its shape when moving quickly along uneven paths or traversing an off-trail route. The Vasque Breeze XCR Hiking Shoe's fully padded collar reduces the stress of high mileage days, while the padded, gusseted tongue contributes to a snug, comfortable fit that seals out debris.

breeze boots
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY HOW GREAT THESE BOOTS FIT AND FEEL. NO BRAKE-IN JUST COMFORT! I WILL BE ORDERING AGAIN. I AM 6'4" AND 250 LB. FINDING SHOES LARGE ENOUGH AND STILL GOOD QUALITY CAN BE A TASK. ALTREC ALL WAYS HAS ALOT TO CHOSE FROM .

Have bought 5 pairs
These boots are great. My son had a hard time finding a comfortable boot that would not give blisters and he loves them. Now he has another pair as every day boots and a pair for only hiking. Extremely comfortable. I have the womens version and will buy no other.

Great Boots
Bought a few different pairs to try on. After trying on the Vasque breeze's decision was over. These have not let me down since. Great for everyday use and on the trails. The Vibram sole is tough as nails.

Best boot I've ever had
This is the fifth pair I've bought. I've worn out four of them. Actually, I've worn out the Vibram soles, but the uppers are still serviceable. I wear them all day, every day doing landscaping work, hiking, camping, fishing. Great support, cool in the summer, and comfortable right out of the box.
