Reviews
Want a made in the USA sock? I own some in every brand and these are tied for my favorite with Darn Tough ever since Smartwool changed. DarnTough runs a little large then shrinks, Wigwam runs a little small and doesn't shrink. These are sturdy and thin enough to wear in the summer without cooking your toes.
A solid performance sock
I recently converted to merino wool socks for all my socks. Merino wool's soft-feel, moisture wicking and temperature regulating properties make them the best sock out there in my opinion. And, as someone who still seeks out products made in the USA, I decided to give these socks a try. Wigwam didn't disappoint. These socks are extremely comfortable. The feel next to your skin is quite soft. On top of that, the construction of the sock which features olefin fibers on the inside and wool on the outside serves as a liner and sock in one. These socks proved to be a smart choice when I took them out for my trail run in the coastal Southern California hills. It's been a cold and wet winter so far here in SoCal but these socks kept me dry and comfortable. I also like the high quarter fit of the socks which makes for a more comfortable trail running experience when dealing with mud and water splatters. Lastly, the elastic content of the sock allows for a secure fit without having to size down to make sure the sock stays up. I am a size 9.5 and I went with the large which fit perfectly without having to pull it too tight. On a personal note, I wasn't able to get the blue sock because it wasn't available in my size but I wish I could have because it looks cool. I ordered the gray and black socks and couldn't be happier with them. It just goes to show you that we can still make great products at a reasonable price in this country.
Great active sock
Got these socks for a hot weather hike. My feet kept cool and dry. They are great and would recommend to anyone that has problems with hot feet.
Great socks !!
It is great for winter time. They keep my feet warm and toasty. It is true size. Mine is 9 and I ordered size M in black. They fit on me very well. I love the color too.
Good sock thats very warm
This sock fits well; the ankle band fits close to your skin so water, dirt and rocks do not get inside. It is a warm sock for the fall and winter; sometimes too warm in good winter boots.
