Excellent Product, other reviews are misleading
This product has been awesome, and after reading other reviews, I had concerns... but they were unfounded. The assembly may seem a little complicated because of the multipage manual, but after reading through the steps, it became very clear. Installation was super easy, took me no longer than a half hour. And the rack functions great, granted I'm only carrying 2pairs skis and a board, but it closes and functions perfectly. It seems easy to close ( you have to throw a little weight into it, but all ski racks are like that) and the design looks great. All in all, a few weeks in, and this rack has been great.
