great packing boots
I am packing a heavy 50# + backpack 3.5 miles per day to get ready for my 10 day September trip to Colorado with these boots. I also have a pair of Lowa Tibets but keep going back to these because they are more comfortable than the Tibets. I will keep increasing weight over the next few months and will see which will make the trip but so far the Zamberlan 1009 get laced onto my feet more often.

The best boots I've ever owned
I'm a 10 1/2 and right out of the box these boots fit great and felt fantastic. I'm going on a big trekking trip to South America and I'm taking these darlings with me. I've tried them out on the canyons around home and they are perfect on the trail. If you get them you won't be sorry.

Nice boots , well made , acceptable weight . I had to return mine due to my right foot being slightly smaller than my left causing my heel to lift up. They are over priced for what they are and the only real nock I have is the boots are too flexible for any rocky difficult trails or off trail traveling . They would be fine for flat land or smooth trail hiking.
